What is Can Can?

Can Can is Seattle’s premier cabaret venue, featuring an amazing in-house dance company and performances five nights a week. The club rotates feature productions seasonally. It is not uncommon for our guests to want to come back and see the same show several times! We also produce weekly and one-off events, in addition to our featured productions. Depending on the season, we have a variety of shows that appeal to wide array of audiences. From all female to all male shows, check out our current offerings to see what might be the right match for you or your group. Our underground 'speakeasy' atmosphere is outfitted and dressed to reflect the current running production. We serve a full service menu in both our Absinthe & Craft Cocktail Bar as well as our dining room.

Can I come to Can Can, even if I don’t have tickets for the show?

Anyone can come into Can Can’s Absinthe & Craft Cocktail Bar, open 5pm to close Wednesday through Sunday with no cover charge. The bar serves our full dinner menu, too. However, if you would like to watch the show, you will need to purchase a ticket to the performance located in the theatre.  

How Long is the show?

Our evening show is 90 minutes including intermission, the Midnight show is 60 minutes.

Is dinner served? What if I’ve already eaten?

Can Can serves a tantalizing dinner menu in the bar (limited seating), as well as in the dining room during scheduled performances. Come hungry! Our food is simply fantastic. The menu is artfully crafted by our talented Chef Roman Turner who hand-picks all ingredients daily from the famous Pike Place Market. We offer a number of vegetarian and gluten free options on our menu. Many of them can be prepared vegan. Ask your server and we will gladly accommodate any dietary wishes. If you just aren’t hungry, we’ve got plenty of drink options, lighter dishes and irresistible desserts. Check out our menu here.

What do I wear?

While there is no dress code at Can Can, we would love for you to dress to impress, as all of us sure do! And you never really know what’s going to happen at the end of such a sexy night...

I bought tickets, but something came up. Can I reschedule?

Please note that all sales are final; there will be no refunds or exchanges so be sure to carefully review your order before completing your transaction. Be sure to read the show description and view the poster or images related to the show as they will give an idea of the look and aesthetic of the show that you are purchasing so there are no surprises. 

When do you start seating? When is best to arrive?

We ask that you arrive no later than 30 minutes before showtime. Since we serve drinks and dinner, we like to get you seated before the show starts. Also, the time you arrive will not affect where you sit, as we have the room mapped out well before you arrive. If you are running late please give the host a call at 206-652-0832 and we will make every effort to hold your seat. In the event that we do not hear from you, tickets will be released 5 minutes after the scheduled showtime and provided to those on the waitlist...no refunds will be issued. If you arrive after the show has begun and seats are still available, we will seat you at the first break. We understand that the inevitable happens, but please be on time!

I’m taking my best friend to Can Can for his/her bachelor(ette), birthday or engagement party! Is there anything special I can do for her?

Can Can offers a Celebration Package for that lucky guest to celebrate their special occasion. We’ll bring your guest of honor onstage for a celebratory toast and dance performed by member of the cast. It's the perfect way to make your night at Can Can more memorable and personal. The Celebration Package requires a separate purchase in addition to your ticket purchase. When purchasing this package, please add the name of the celebrant in the checkout process. More information on the Celebration Package is available when you begin your regular ticket transaction online.  Celebration packages can also be purchased at will call when you arrive to the the venue. Please be ready to provide your guest of honor's name and the event they're celebrating!

I’m trying to go with a group of friends, but we’d like to purchase our tickets separately. Can we still sit at the same table?

We are happy to accommodate large parties in our intimate venue. You will have the opportunity to include a group or party name during checkout which will allow our host to seat you and your group together. For large groups we suggest purchasing tickets a month in advanced. Weekend shows tend to sell out quickly, and when we sell out, there is no wiggle room!

Can I bring my daughter here for her Sweet 16?

We have an all ages brunch matinee on Saturdays and Sundays at 12:30pm and 2:30pm which is great for all audiences! You must be at least 17 years old to attend our 7pm evening shows. You must be 21+ to attend our 9:30pm or Midnight show. We also offer venue rentals at our sister facility, Fred Wildlife Refuge, located in Capitol Hill . Fred is a spacious art gallery in Capitol Hill with many available amenities for rent.

What if I forgot my ID?

Whether you just turned 17 or 97, we follow the law very tightly, and no person will be admitted without a valid ID.

Do you accept large parties?  

Yes! Bring all the guys and gals you want for a fabulous night of naughtiness. Have a best friend’s birthday, or bachelorette party coming up? We’ve got you covered. Please note that parties of 6 or more will be presented with one check at the end of the night and a gratuity of 20% will be included.

Can I take pictures or video?

No. Pictures and video are prohibited.

Do I tip the performers?

Yes! Bring cash as the dancers will offer the opportunity to tip them throughout and at the end the show. It’s a great way to show your appreciation for their amazing performance.

Where do I park?

Thursday-Saturday evening(s) the the Market provides paid valet parking at the main entrance of the Market at 1st and Pike. There is also plenty of free street parking all around the Pike Place Market as well as additional paid lots off of 2nd Avenue and Western.

How often does Can Can have new shows?

Can Can launches new and original showcases 3 to 5 times a year. As mentioned before, we also host The Midnight Show weekly, and  exciting annual performances on and off site. With each show, the entire venue transforms from head to toe including decor, artwork, paint, etc., so you’ll never know what exciting world you’re walking into!

What should I expect?

Leave your inhibitions and life's worries at the door. Expect a night of classy entertainment, amazing choreography, dance, comedy, acrobatics and sexy, over-the-top displays of artistry in an incomparable speakeasy setting.  Add excellent service, delicious cocktails, incredible bites, and just the right amount of sin and your only beginning to scratch the Can Can surface. Oh, and glitter!

Do you have any special effects?

Some of our shows use haze (quick dissipating fog), herbal cigarettes and/or strobe lights. If you are triggered or prone to seizure please let us know and we can offer you an alternate seat until the strobe act is over.

What else should i know?

Due to the nature of our ticketing a 20% gratuity will be added onto the following: Parties of 6+, all Preferred tickets, and all VIP tickets. By purchasing your ticket you are agreeing to this charge.
