Zoë Pearson

I first started my dance training at Evergreen City Ballet in Auburn, Washington which was directed by Wade Walthall, a former PNB principal dancer. I spent eight years at this studio with rigorous focus in ballet and pointe work. At age 12, I was accepted into the Rock Ballet School’s summer intensive program where I continued my ballet training. In high school, I spent a few years dancing at Spectrum Dance Theatre in Seattle where I was exposed to lyrical and contemporary dance training. I then moved to Portland, Oregon to attend college at Portland State University. I performed for three years with the Portland State Dance Team, which led to pursuing a career in the NFL. I danced with the Seattle Seahawks for 5 years as an NFL cheerleader. During this time, I performed in Super Bowl XLVII & XLIX, participated in numerous promotions and charity events including appearances and interviews on GMA, ESPN New York City, King5 News, Q13 FOX News and KOMO. During my second season, I was hand selected by the director to perform worldwide with a small group of the team known as “show group.” We put on an hour-long production with different sets, dance styles and costume changes. I was lucky enough to experience three European tours with Armed Forces Entertainment dancing and meeting American soldiers in The Netherlands, Kosovo, Germany, Italy and the UK.
